Favorite Places in the US

My favorite place in the US is Washington, DC. I thought that it was really cool because that's where the president and many other important people live. Also, you see it in movies a lot and it's cool to actually be there. Another reason is, those people cross states A LOT. Texas is the 2nd biggest state, so when we cross state lines, it's sort of a big deal and an interesting experience. But up in the northeast, you can't really tell Maryland for Virginia, or Delaware from New Jersey, or New York from Connecticut or Massachusetts from Rhode Island, etc.

Terroritst Attacks in the United States

We haven't had any terrorist attacks since 2001. But, many people in our government and across the country think that we are still vulnerable. It is a big topic right now, as the presidential elections are taking place this week on November 4, 2008.
